Next steps
When you are ready to take the next steps you can apply to become a candidate. This includes:
- Sending us a copy of your CV.
- Completing questionnaires and asking others to complete references about you.
- Conversations with ECM-workers, the ECM board, your church leaders, and the team leader of your potential ECM team. Usually we recommend that you also visit the ECM team in the country you're hoping to join.
- Possible additional theological/missiological education or more specific ministry experience in your church.
When you have been accepted as a candidate, we will guide you as you prepare more deeply. We will also help and advise you as you build your support group in terms of prayer and finance.
Your church and friends will also play an important part in your journey. It isn't always easy, but we have always seen that God provides with everything necessary when he calls you to serve him.
